Chapter 1- Return to Rivendell

The silence of the palace of Eryn Lasgalen was broken by a voice of a young she-elf that echoed down the stone halls.”Adar! Adar! Where are you? Adar . . . oh!” She stopped suddenly as she almost ran into the king’s adviser.
“Lady Tirithiel, where are you going in such a hurry?”he asked,
“Sorry Mellanen, have you seen my father?”
“No, but you might want to try the archery grounds.”
” Hannon le Mellanen, Namárië!”
“Namárië Tirithiel!”
When Tirithiel got to the archery grounds she saw the golden hair of her father. When she was an elfling, he had told her that he had gotten his bow from Lady Galadriel. “Adar!”she called and her father turned around “Come here Tirithiel. “She came as he bid”what is it?”
“There’s a dwarf who says he’s a friend of yours.”
“Where is he from?”
” He says he’s from the Lonely Mountain.”
” Gimli.” He whispered. Then he ran into the palace, so she followed him.

As her father came to the courtroom, he saw the dwarf “Gimli!”the dwarf ran up and embraced the elf.
” Legolas laddie!” He said this in a muffled voice as he was speaking into the elf’s stomach.”Gimli, what are you doing here?” The dwarf immediately released him.
“Elrond has called another council, we are to be at Rivendell as soon as we can. He says we may bring our families if we wish.”
” Speaking of our families, I would like to introduce you to my daughter, Tirithiel . . . , Tirithiel come out of there.” She came out from behind the where she was hiding. “Tirithiel, this is my friend, Gimli.”
” Mae govannen Gimli.” She said bowing in elven manner. “Hello Lady Tirithiel.” Gimli said bowing. Her father then turned to her, “Tirithiel, go get ready, we need to go to Rivendell, we will be traveling with Gimli so make hast.” Tirithiels blue eyes sparkled with excitement and in the blink of an eye she disappeared. Soon she came back and declared “I’m ready!” She was dressed in a jade green dress, green cloak , and her long golden hair was neatly tied back . She had her quiver strapped onto her back, and bow in her hand. Then they went to the stables, Legolas got his horse Arod, he had told her that the king of Rohan gave Arod to him. Tirithiel called her white mare mîriel from the fields.

“Legolas” The elf turned around,” I would like to introduce you to my son Ginnar.” The and dwarf bowed to the elf. When they were ready, they traveled southwest toward Rivendell. A week later they finally saw the gates of Rivendell before them. The gates opened and Lord Elrond was there to greet them.”Mae govannen Legolas Greenleaf and to you Gimli Son of Gloin.”
