My number one favorite scene is the lighting of the beacons. I love that because its like a sign of hope. I also love the music. My other favorite scene is the one where Pippen sings, I thought that was lovely.

I have two favorite scenes in ROTK. The lighting of the beacons and the scene when Sam comes home to Rose and the children. The baby is adorable. mmmmXMA! I love babies. I think that baby is supposed to be Frodo-lad.

I loved the whole movie, but here are some of my favorite scenes:

Theoden's speach and the charge of the Rohirrim. What a rush!

When Legolas kills the Oliphant, and Gimli says, "That still only counts as one". That was hilarious.

When Aragorn and Arwen are reunited.

Theoden's death scene. Very sad.

Awen's vision.

When Gandalf comes to pick up Sam and Frodo on the wings of eagles. I think the music in that scene really made it beautiful.

When Gimli said, "I never thought I'd die fighting side by side with an Elf". And Legolas says, "How about side by side with a friend?". That was great.

Last, but definitely not least. The Grey Havens scene. I cried my eyes out. :cry:

i would have to say that my favorite scenes from the movie is the lighten of the beacons, this is such as a great part of the whole movie and there is hope for the white city and plus the music behind is fantastic. i also love the whole Eowyn undercover scene where she picks up merry and takes him to war.:heart:

Favorite ROTK scenes:

Smeagol becoming Gollum. (Very creepy, very well done.)

Merry and Pippin at Isengard (Gotta love those hobbits!)

The celebration scene at Edoras with the drinking game and Merry and Pippin's dance on the table.

Merry and Pippin splitting up. (I felt so bad for both of them. )

Frodo telling Sam to go home. (Gollum: :angry: Sam: :sob: )

Pippin's scene with Faramir (Very cute! )

The lighting of the beacons. (Always sends chills up my spine.)

Pippin's song. (The hobbit can SING!! :love: )

Eowyn and Merry having courage for their friends. (Awwww...)

Gandalf's speech to Pippin about death being another path. :cry:

Theoden's rousing speech and spear-rattling.

Legolas and the Mumak. (Yet another Legolas-Is-Awesome scene. )

"I am no man." (The ultimate Girl-Power moment, with some short, furry-footed help. )

Pippin looking for Merry and finding him. (That's true friendship, right there.)

The Houses of Healing.

Aragorn's speech at the final stand-off and "For Frodo."

"I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you!" :sob:

The Fellowship's reunion at Frodo's bedside. (They should've put Faramir in there to replace Boromir!)

The entire Coronation scene from Aragorn's song (More chills!) to the people of Gondor bowing to the hobbits (More :sob: )

Back at the Green Dragon. (You could tell from that scene how much the whole experience had changed them. They seemed more grown-up since the last time we saw them at the Green Dragon. It was very moving.)

The Grey Havens. (I didn't want Frodo to goooo...! :cry: :sob: )

"Well, I'm back." (Wonderful ending. I loved that they used the last line from the book.)

Okay, there are about a bajillion more than this but these are what I remember (kind of in order from favoritist to favorite...but some may not be):

1. Pippin's Song
2. "I am no man" -Eowyn
3. "For Frodo" - Aragorn
4. "It is not this day" speech- Aragorn
5. Theoden's Speech
6. When PJ gets shot with an arrow (EE) (HILARIOUS)
7. Sam defeating Shelob
8. Green Dragon Song-Merry and Pippin
9. Faramir and Pippin's scene
10. Mouth of Sauron (EE) (LOL. My uncle made up a song for him. it's so funny)
11. Legolas and Gimli in general
12. Saruman's Death
13. The shutting of the yellow door.

There's more, I know it.
But I don't feel like typing it.

My favorite scene in ROTK is when Gandalf tells Pippin about "A Far Green Country" when they believe that all hope is lost. That is my favorite scene from all three movies. The music is perfect for the scene and I get goosebumps every time I see it.

I loved the whole movie, but I particularly liked the pre-battle speeches from Theoden and Aragorn. As well, the "still only counts as well" from Gimli is hilarious(maybe just the way he says it), and I LOVE the scene at the Havens. Although that could just be the way the ship leaving complements the music.

The whole thing with Shelob, and after Sam defeats her to find Frodo apparently dead. :cry: I have a lot of favorite scenes, but this one is so poignant. It creeped me out and reduced me to tears at the same time.

-The lighting of the beacons

-When the hobbits get back to the Shire (so happy!)
-Aragorn's coronation

-I like when Faramir rides out to Osgiliath and Pippin sings to Denethor. It makes me cry every time.
-Love the Paths of the Dead. It's very exciting.

Oh my gosh, there are so many good scenes in ROTK, and I love them all! But probably the parts that I love the most is at the whole ending sequence, with Frodo and Sam on Mount Doom, and when Aragorn charges and says "For Frodo", and then the Grey Havens. But one of my ultimate favorite parts is during the coronation scene when the hobbits bow down to Aragorn and he says "My friends, you bow to no one." and then Aragorn and Arwen, and all the people bow to the four hobbits as it plays that beautiful hobbit theme. I love that part so much. I love all the emotional parts, lol. I know its strange, but I actually like crying in movies.

My most favorite is when Gandalf arives in Edoras.Every time i watch LOTR it is most favorite moment for me.And i know what is goin to happen but i still preetend,and it gives me the trill.Hehehe,and not to forget when Legolas and Gimli stand by each other and Legolas say-How bout near a friend.Hehehe.Great!!!And Gimli smile with his hard and raw face,but with a big and warm heart.And,there is more.When eagles make Nazguls a not-only-flyin-i-am's and they give them a little surprise by that...hehehehe.And there are more scenes but...who could remember when you like the hole movie.

did anyone else think that Legolas singlehandedly taking down the mumak or even the shield sliding was kinda over the top? dont get me wrong Legolas is indeed was of my favorites(I cant name just one lol) but idk i feel like they went over the top with those. Did anyone else?

Many scenes in the LOTR and Hobbit movies make me want to jump into the screen!

typing out my favorite ROTK scenes would take too long, so I roughly narrowed it down to just a handful of my most loved scenes. ROTK is just one incredibly epic scene!!! For me, it is the most epic, intense, and emotional movie of the LOTR Triology and definitely one of my top favorite movies of all time.

So here is a rough list in no particular order of my favorite scenes:

The Black Gate I love how it cuts from Aragorn and co. charging the Black Gate and Frodo and Sam struggling up Mount Doom. Sam carrying Frodo, Frodo crawling up the mountain... The music is heart wrenchingly beautiful.

The Grey Havens: Frodo's Smile Frodo's smile as he gets on the boat went a long way to helping me deal with the end of the series.

The Coronation
Elrond and Arwen, Aragorn, Frodo, the whole Fellowship, I think those are enough reasons..
Lighting The Beacons . Epic scene. Now I want to go become a beacon guard on a mountain peak, always watching for a distant flame on the next peak

The whole movie is great.
May it be when darkness falls, your heart will be true..

Close. But I think Gimli's comment when Legolas is back on the ground in front of the dead Mûmak is the punch-line of the whole scene: "Well, it still only counts as one!!"

And on the dramatic side, when Aragorn says to the Hobbits: "My friends, you bow to no one."

There are many... But my favorite is definitely when Legolas took down the Oliphant. That was the best. I also love Aragorn's speech at the gates of Mordor, right before the final battle.

The Return of the King is my favorite Middle Earth movie and I love many of the scenes.
It would take all day to list them all, so one of my most favorite scenes is starting with Aragorn's speech at the Black gates to the very last second of the movie. Its all so epic and amazing.

My favourite scenes (there are so many!!!) are probably the White Rider, the Paths of the Dead, Breaking of the Gondor gate, the Charge of the Rohirrim, Minas Morgul, Aragorn's speech at the Black Gate, Sauron being destroyed and the Fellowship Reunited.
