I can't decide... Since "Highlander" I'm a swords person. I always wanted to have a sword. And some day I'll just spend the buckloads of money and buy one.

Until then you would probably see me with the pots and pens, I'm afraid

Kinda a tie. I want Legolas's bow since I can actually shoot. (GO ME!!!) But I'd also love Anduril. That sword kicks butt!

I would want to have a sword (although I don't know if I could hold it up very long, cuz it would weigh alot I think...) so I'd prob pick a sword that is like Andúril but Sting is also very very pretty...I like the pattern thing that's carved into it... :love:

my first choice ~ legolas's knives and bow
second ~ either sting or anduril

legolas's knives are actually similar to the ones i used to use when i was studing martial arts. mine were just blunted so that we wouldn't hurt each other.

one of the things to take into consideration is, true, a sword would weigh quite a bit, so that might not be the best, but if we actually got a chance to use one of these things, it would be probably be in our dreams and we would be warriors and capable of using them, or something... and one other thing to think about, sting's a halfling sword, though made by the elves, so it's a sort of bastard dirk, which doesn't make much sense, cuz they never really existed, i just thought of the name from a mix of bastard sword (one and a half length of a regular broadsword) and dirk, or dagger. Which means, in english, that it would be a very small sword or a very big knife.
I voted for leggy's knives, cuz they're so nimble, in a way... i would like the bow too, cuz i can *sorta* shoot (not very well, but i can do ten yard targets and hit the middle three rings reasonably consistently...) but i like his knives better. I dunno... for some reason they always remind me of a dance, a dance of death, of silk and blood and i'm getting carried away here, bye!

The Witch King's sword for sure, I think that the Nazgul are the coolest creatures in the movies (yes, better than the balrog). I design for the Witch Kings armour in ROTK is awseome, it embodies the twisted will of Sauron very much.

Well I can't wield a sword, but if I did I'd want Anduril.

And I can't use a bow and arrow... but if I could, give me a BOW OF THE GALADHRIM!!!!! I mean, really. When they're at Parth Galen and they're being attacked by orcs, Legolas just stands there shooting arrows and no orc gets within ten feet of him - how cool is that??

I`m more of a sword&knife than a bow person...I would really like to wield Anduril, but I think it`s to big for me and I would probably chop off a few heads while practising with it, so I picked Legolas` knives. They`re small, pretty and kinda remind me of my lil` short sword I practise with all the time.

Well let's see here I actually posses three of the ones on the list. Glamdring, Narsil/Anduril, and Sting. Ok so their replicas but hey that's about as close as many of us will get right. My favorite is Narsil so far because it is HUGE. It comes all the way up to two inches bellow my collar bone and I'm 5'9"! However i would love to have the Witch King sword because it is the biggest of them all. After all the guy is supposed to be 7 feet tall.

I do have Sting. it actually just arrived yersterday, and I love it!
Now I'm drooling over the Witchkings' sword, don't know if I'll get that one, but I can always hope!

I like swords a lot, but I'd rather have elven knives. I can already use a sword (though never on another person) and I think knives would be a challenge, not to mention the cool moves you could do with them. I'm considering buying them, just waiting for parental approval.

I'd like Arwen's sword, because for most women and certainly for me Andúril would be much too heavy. I'd really like to learn fencing.

Currently I don't own any of the weapons, though I have seen and handled them at a store. My conclusion- Elven Knives! As cool as the Witch King's sword is, most of the swords- Glamdring, Anduril, etc, are too big and heavy for little me! The elven knives are light weight, pretty, and even though their Legolas's, are cool! Hey- it's a sharp shiny pointed object so I'd like it!

I voted for Hadhafang. That sword is gorgeous and his has a history as Idril's sword. I love the curve shape. It is so different from other swords. Plus, the writing is beautiful as well. I just love everything about it.

I think all of the weapons were beautifully crafted and I'd be happy with any one of them. However, of those listed, I chose Hadhafang because I love the curve of it. It's simply stunning. But, out of the entire trilogy, the weapon I'd most like to have is the same one Ringhilwen mentioned:
Aeglos - Gil-galad's spear from the prologue.
Even though we barely got a glimpse of it, it looked amazing. Does anyone know where to find a good-quality pic of Aeglos?

Ohhh! I love Anduril! That sword is awesome! It's very long and...... [i][/i]elegant, I guess.
But I love Sting also. The design on it is beautiful! I saw a replica for sale once- for $399.00. I'm afraid I can't dish out that kind of money.

I would have chosen the Legolas's bow, but I went with Anduril Aragorn's sword, I love its discription in the book and it looked great in the movie!

I did not vote, for my choice wasn't mentioned. I would choose wisdom and a true heart, for I think those are the most important weapons throughout the movies. But if I had to make a choice, I would like to have the bow of the Galadhrim. I am an archer myself .

I chose Hadafang. I love the curve of the blade. Any of the elven blades would be cool. I can't wait until i get my untied cutlery Hadafang .

let's see.................... witch king's sword looks nice, sauron's and the witch king's mace is pretty cool. my friend made me a elven sword, like a practice one, out of bamboo so i wouldn't mind a elven sword or hadhafang. easterling polearm is just wicked!!!:evil:
