In one day I'll move this thread to the 'Discuss the Books' forum. Before I do that I'd like to know what the word is that is missing between 'which' and 'Isuldur' in the post.

Which Finger, hand, arm, year etc?

I'm guessing 'finger', PB, judging from the subject title.

I think 'finger' too and agree that this post belongs in Books. Perhaps the thread title could be 'Rings: the significance of fingers.' There is opportunity for a great discussion here.
