ok. I hope it's not too late for me. I am doing the ardralambian lessons currently, but I could change to COE. I'm not very far yet, so I would like someone who is pretty advanced, because I know i'll need lots of help. BTW, my main language is English.

level: I've been taking lessons from a different website but I'm going to study it here as well. I've just started present tense verbs and I'm a little confused.

aiya, im just starting and could use a tutor for practice and learning words as well as learning the lessons

1st language: english
level:1 (plurals)
iso: higher level

just starting to learn plurals from the aldalambion lessons and not going to bother with CoE's lessons just yet

I came in February of 2004. I got a study partner shortly after I joined we helped at studying then I eventually forgot about this website, because I was so busy with other things. So around in November I responded to my partner I've been PM my study buddy. She has not responded to me I do not know if she still gets on this site anymore or not. So I do not know if I should get a new study partner. I'm on dual numbers but, I need to refresh some lessons. I am real busy now I don’t always have time to study. My partner was DiamondxOfxLongxCleeve. I have tried to email her but the email she has posted on her profile dose not work because I always get an email saying it could not send it. I do not know what to do; I liked my study partner a lot.

EDIT: Found study partner again, new buddy not needed.

I think I could use a study buddy... I think my pronounciation's ok (none of the "listen to Quenya" links worked for me), so I'll be starting on plurals (though I did have a question about that lesson).

aiya again folks, i tried getting a buddy before but we ended up not conecting because i have yahoo messenger and the other person had msn, these two are not compatible and i dont feel like taking the time to wait for pm's, or wandering around a forum.

im still new and need alot of tutoring/practice, especialy vocab. as far as i've seen, there is nothing for k-6 and that needs to be fixed. looking for anyone who knows more than i do.

if you want to chat or interact using quenya please just send me an instant message as im not here often

There seems to be a certain lack of higher level students on this thread. Is it because most people dont make it to the higher levels or simply because they are not interested in study buddies? Anyways I also would like a study buddy who is preferably a higher level than myself.

I think that when people get to a certain level they don't need a studdy buddy any more, and maybe they forget what it is like to try to learn all by themselves. I am struggling with lesson 10, but I will try to help you if I can.

Aiya!!!!

Hi, i am meatcar. i am currently on leson 14, just finnished 13. I speak fluently russian, english, and understand the composition and gramars of ukranian and french, so all teh lessons go easily into my head.

I would really like to have my study-budy on the same level as me.

I had a study buddy here, but she has quit Quenya (at least for some time), so I would like to have another one. I speak Dutch and English and a little French and German. I'm somewhere in the middle of lesson 14 (I'm doing the Ardalambion course, so it takes some time to read through the lessons).

actualy the ardalambion lessons are alot easier if you deleet everything but the summary from each lesson

and im still looking for more friends. im shy so feel free to im me unanounced

Aiya!

I've just discovered this site, and it's pretty awesome. I came across it while searching for ways to learn Elvish.
To the point, I'd really like a study-buddy!

I was hoping to learn Sindarin, but it seemed there wasn't enough information on it to be able to speak it fluently, which I really wanted to do. I hope to one day learn Sindarin also, though.

I'm pretty much on level 3.
I was a bit confused about level 1, and have a few questions about other things...

Hopefully someone would like to be my 'buddy'.
Any takers?

Oh, and preferred language is English.

Mithriel, most of the people wanting study buddies follow the lessons available in the 'workbook' of this site, so you may want to check them out, too. Have a look in the main menu, where you'll find the workbook in the Language section.

Merilwen, that's not a stupid questions at all. Some buddies use the PM function of this site, others communicate by e-mail, or chat.

What the buddies actually do is up to each pair to decide. It may e.g. be grammar discussions, helping out with workbook exercises, playing simple games in Quenya, or trying to translate things.

Aiya. I need a buddy as well, I am perfectly willing to go far enough to be a competent speaker or just somebody to quiz vocab with.

I am familiar with all the lessons, but not yet to where I can work without referencing them periodically.

EDIT: Too little time for Quenya right now, no buddy needed.

Hello! I am looking for a study buddy to work through the workbook on this site with. I'm new and just starting the lessons. I'm looking for a buddy who's around the same point that I am (recently or just starting to learn Quenya), but it doesn't really matter. Someone more advanced could be quite helpful, but I wouldn't want to be slowing anyone down.

Level: Pretty much just starting, though I've looked over the first couple lessons.
