My gosh! It’s Boromir-how I imagined him! eee! This is actually John Howe as Boromir you know. I love it!
Wow…This one’s amazing…The light on the horn looks so real….
lol yeah i know its a kind of self portrait, i was wondering how many people would notice. yes this is good!
Well, if John thinks he looks like this 😉 But it’s a splendid drawing, and for once I even don’t mind the
beard. I really like this one: he looks young and strong, but also a bit tired…
Aaah…I just came from the Hildebrandt brothers. This is refershing…
this is better picture of Boromir i have ever seen.
I agree with you, iameowyn, this IS very refreshing and way more realistic than the H brothers.
Boromir looks world weary. I like that. Except the horn is strangly shaped.
its funny how the horn is coming out his mouth and blowing right back into his ear
It’s actually pretty realistic for it to curl that way: it would be an oxen horn 😀
his cheeks aren’t puffed out, though.
I think it does look like John Howe. Definitely the bone structure does…v. nice pic!
Yep, thats Howe alright, great painting.
amazing detail… yes, I suppose that does rather resemble Howe, eh…. I like it.
Now THIS is Boromir! Maybe not as rugged as I pictured him, but this is definitely the son of the Steward.
That’s him ! It’s great ! I love John Howe ! I never pictured him as Boromir before, but it fits well I think.
He has a beard!!!
I realy like this version of Boromir. very similar to how I pictured him
I like that. He looks very peaceful
wow, THIS is my boromir…
i always pictured boromir as a big guy…. great art work though
Wonderful!
I am surprised that Howe thinks of himself like Boromir, but this is a nice pic
