Why is he grimacing?
Does this have to do with Maedhros being rescued from the precipice? (It WAS Maedhros, wasn’t it?)
are these any of feanors sons?
Yeah It was Meadhros, but he had red hair…
Just a guess – was this when Celegorm and Curufin (or was it Caranthir?) attacked Luthien and Beren, who were
saved by the betrayal of Huan? And then Beren took one of their horses so they had to both ride the other?
Yes, it is. And the reason why Curufin is grimacing is that Beren nearly choked him to death.
The part in the Simarillion where it talks about Beren taking out Curufin actually made me fall of my chair
laughing! Even though it’s so serious, I was really excited that someone finally stuck it to them! So I’m glad
that she drew them in a bad mood, it’s how I’ve always imagined them afterwards!
