I was very, very disappointed that the Elessar was not used in the movies.

This is not my vision of the Elessar: but so much better, with more style
Not quite now I imagined it (I imagined the jewel being round) but very nice. I like how realistic the stone
looks, and the colours of it. Reminds me of the description of Treebeard’s eyes – deep pools of green shot
through with golden light, or something like that, wasn’t it?
