I like the contrast between the blue and the yellow-going-to-red
i like the whole thing.. i meant to post this a while ago… you beat me to it 😉 i love the flames
So swirly! Very pretty!
WOW This…Is…too…cool…for…words…(so i’ll type it)
I wonder which guy had the worst breath……. Anyway, I still agree with Enelya.
reminds me of the balrog dying on the mountain after fighting with gandalf in TTT
nice shades of red
and yellow
Do you simpletons really think it’s Sauron? I like it, but it’s clearly obvious that it’s one of the Nazgul.
Ok SarumanofManyColors but in the description it says Sauron Deafted. Why do you think it’s not Sauron?
This is what Garland himself titles the picture. It might represent the defeat of sauron rather than show
sauron himself.. thats the thing about art see- you can use it to _represent_ something. sheesh
looks more like a piece of paper on fire that’s falling too the ground
Interesting. I like the fire, fire is cool.
Thats not sauron, sauron never rode on a fell beast, its a nazgul, i agree sarumanofmanycolours
A passionate dance the heart displays as shadow and light fight for the right to exist
where’s his face?
When mount doom bursts, the Nazgul die in the fire. Period.
it looks like the balrog
I like it. A lot.
you have to stare at it for a while to figure out what exactly is going on- very well done!
how do you know that sauron never rode a fell beast? hmm? he must have just WALKED three miles to the front of
all those orcs…yes, that becomes Sauron. i love the painting overall.
