    This is very pretty, but I always thought of yavanna as wearing slightly more clothing.

    I think the lack of clothes is perfect cos her bare skin highlights her “roots” instead of veins. Love it!!

    Yes, I agree, she’d look more pure with more clothing, Varda as well. But otherwise they are wonderful.

    Body itself is a clothing to the Ainur, so I don’t think they really care about clothing as we know it all that much, not for themselves. They don’t need it as we do.

    I don’t mind Yavanna having some curves, either. In various ancient cultures fertility is depicted with curves in art, and Yavanna definitely has fertility.
