Parody of "Macavity:The mystery cat" by Sarah Brightman

Legolas is a mystery elf.
He’s called the hidden elf.
For he’s a master criminal, who can defy the law.
He’s the bafflement of Middle-earth
The uruk-hai’s despair.
For when they reach the scene of crime, Legolas’s not there!

Legolas, Legolas, there’s no one like Legolas.

He’s broken every human law.
He breaks the law of archery.
His powers of archery, would make Haldir stare.
But when you reach the scene of crime, Legolas’s not there!

Legolas is a blond elf.
He’s very tall and thin.
You’d know him if you saw him for his eyes are sunken in.
His brow is deeply lined in thought
His head is highly domed.
His clothes are dusty from neglect.
But his hair is always combed.
He sways his head from side to side
With movements like a snake
And when you think he half-asleep
He’s always wide awake!!!

Legolas, Legolas there’s no one like Legolas.
For he’s a fiend in elf-like shape
A monster of Mirkwood
You might see him in a by-street
Or even in the woods.
But when you reach the scene of crime, Legolas’s not there!

He’s outwardly respectible
I know he cheats at competitions
Or when Gimli’s missing, or the jewelry box is rifled, or when your bow is gone, and another dwarf’s been stifled…
Or when bones are in repair.
The wonder of the thing is Leggy’s not there!

Legolas,Legolas,there’s no one like Legolas.
There never was an elf of such deceitfulness and suavity.
He always has an alibi
And one or two to spare
Whatever time the deed took place Leggy’s not there.

And they say all the elves who wicked deeds are widely known
I might mention Haldir
I might mention Galadriel
Are nothing but agents for the elf of all time.
Just controls the operations
The Balrog of crime

Legolas, Legolas there’s no one like Legolas.
For he’s a fiend in elf-like shape
A monster of Mirkwood
You might see him in a by-street
Or even in the woods.
But when you reach the scene of crime, Legolas’s not there!

Legolas, Legolas, Legolas, Legolas
But when a crime’s discovered, Leggy’s not there!
