Parody of "Let it Go" by Idina Menzel

Sam and Frodo have reached the Cracks of Doom.

SAM: The fire glows bright in the mountain tonight
Not a creature is alive
The heart of Sauron’s kingdom
We have finally arrived
FRODO: The lava is churning like this swirling storm inside
Can’t resist the Ring, heaven knows I’ve tried

Don’t put it on, don’t let him see
Be the good hobbit you always have to be
Keep holding out, you’re almost there
Well now I’m here

SAM: Let it go, let it go
You can’t carry it anymore
Let it go, let it go
Throw it away and be free once more
I don’t care
If we live or die
But you can’t fail now
Not after we have come all this way

FRODO: It’s funny how precious
It has become to me
I can’t bear to destroy it
I will not do this deed!
It’s time to see what I can do
To put the Ring on and break through
No right, no wrong, the Ring belongs
To me!

SAM: Let it go, let it go
The one ring will rule your mind
Let it go, let it go
You’ll never see the Shire
Here we stand
At the crack of doom
This is your one chance

FRODO: My power will exceed the greatest of the great
SAM: Please do not make the same mistake Isildur made
FRODO: As I now claim the one ring for my own at last
I’m never going back, the past is in the past!

SAM: Let it go, let it go
FRODO: I’ll rise at the crack of doom
SAM: Let it go, let it go
FRODO: I won’t do what I came to do
Here I stand
Nothing’s in my way
SAM: Frodo don’t be a fool
Not after we have come all this way.
