Thanks to Peter Jackson I've been a Middle-earth fan since childhood, but now I'm seeking to deepen my Tolkien appreciation by reading all his works and looking into his languages. I'm currently reading The Silmarillion for the first time and I also role play as a Noldorian she-Elf named Melardhoniel in a game that is based in Tirion during the first seven chapters of The Silmarillion. I'm here to learn Sindarin not just to appreciate Tolkien more, but also to get a basis for linguistics and how to learn languages so that I can one day learn various languages and work cross culturally as a Bible translator.
