Q: How come when I add a story it doesn't show up immediately?

A: The admin of the site has turned off automatic story validation. You must wait until your story is reviewed and okayed by the fanfiction admin before it shows up.

Q: What do the ratings G, PG, PG-13, and R mean?

A: This is the American movie rating system, and basically it goes as follows:
G: Acceptable for all audiences. No nudity, sexual content, substance use or strong language. Violence is minimal and the theme of the story is deemed appropriate for young children.
PG: Parental guidance suggested - may contain some material not suitable for children. The story contains themes or content that parents may find inappropriate for younger children.
PG-13: Parents strongly cautioned. Some material may be inappropriate for children under 13.
R: Restricted. Under 17 requires parental permission. Contains adult themes or situations not suitable for younger viewers.

Q: How do I add a chapter to my own story?

A: When you click on "Your Stories", the 'Add Chapter' link is next to the fanfic's title and rating.

Q: What is a roundrobin?

A: A roundrobin is a story that anyone can contribute to. The new site (since March 2012) does not enable these stories anymore, but roundrobins submitted before 2012 are still in our archive.

Q: Why do some people have little letter images next to their name?

A: That is someone who is not a member of the site, but who has (presumably) given the admin permission to put their story on the site. The e-mail address gives you a way to contact them if you should choose to do so.
