Ingredients
500g barley flour500g stone-ground wheat flour
1 tsp salt
250g butter
beer to mix
Instructions
-mix flour and salt until an even colour then cut in the butter until well mixed-knead in enough beer to make a soft dough
-shape into small cakes
-cook on a hot griddle until firm
