Ingredients

1 lb. peas
4 Tbs. butter (or margarine)
1 Tbs. chopped fresh mint (dried is not as good)
1 tsp. sugar
salt
freshly ground pepper


Instructions

- Cook the peas in a small amount of boiling salted water until they are tender (or use the microwave). Frozen peas will have instructions on the package. Drain and set aside.
- Melt the butter on medium-low in another saucepan and add the peas, mint, and sugar. Toss and cook gently for 2-3 minutes.
- Add salt and pepper to taste and serve warm.
