Description: A tangy fruit salad for any vegetarian with a need for a bit of pizzazz. It tends to be tangy, but the fruit won't go bad as quickly as it usually does.

Ingredients

Remember to wash all fruits before using them!

Four Bananas
Two Apples
Three apricots
Two plums
A half package of strawberries
Rasberries and blackberries to taste, though a package of each is recommended
Two to three citrus fruits, depending on size (works best with lemons, oranges, grapefruits, or a combination of those)
A large fruit bowl
A small bowl

Instructions

Juice the citrus fruits with a juicer, or if you don't have one of those, with a spoon. Put all the juice in the small bowl. Set this bowl aside to use later.
If you want to, peel the apples. Peel the bananas, too. Dice the apples and bananas. Put them into the citrus juice bowl to soak. This method may seem strange, but it actually stops the apples and bananas from going bad.
Dice the apricots and plums, and cut the tops off the strawberries. Add those and the optional raspberries and/or blackberries into the large bowl.
Dry off the apples and bananas, and put those into the large bowl, too. If desired, sprinkle the citrus juice on the fruit salad.
You now have two options for your salad. You can toss it, or you can arrange it in a nice pattern.
