Interesting! I’ve only ever read how LotR relates to Christianity. I never thought about Buddhism. But I guess it can relate to tons of things, if you think about it long enough!!
Yeah,people always say it relates to Christianity,but I guess it can relate to other religions,too.
LotR can relate to many religons. It’s one thing that doesn’t make it exclusive. This article was thoughtful no doubt about it. Even if Tolkien didn’t know about Buddism, it still resonates with it.
The Buddhism philosophies are most interesting, and I’ve studied Buddhism a bit. Thank you for some open-mindedness. 🙂
