Lord of the Rings is the UK’s favorite book
In a recent poll to find Britain’s favorite book, The Lord of the Rings took the number 1 slot. In second place was 1984 and third place went to the Harry Potter books.

Why anyone would vote for 1984 over Lord of the Rings is far beyond me… I *really* don’t like that book…
