Aragorn is to reading Arwen’s diary. Boromir enters and stands gormlessly looking at the painting of Isildur and Sauron. Then he turns and sees the broken sword. He picks up the shaft and stares at the blade even more gormlessly (if that’s possible).

Boromir: The shards of Narsil! The blade that cut the lampshade from Sauron’s head!

Boromir cleverly runs his finger up the blade and cuts himself. Well what did he expect?

Boromir: Udûn!*

He sees Aragorn, who is watching him.

Boromir: But no more than cheap merchandise!

He puts back the sword carelessly and it falls to the ground. Boromir stops for a second, remembers that Spice World – The Movie has already started and walks away. Aragorn gets up and picks up the dropped shaft and carefully sets it in place with the other shards. He takes a step back, looking at shards. Arwen walks up behind him.

Arwen: Why do you fear the past? You are Isildur’s heir, not Isildur himself. You are not bound to his fate. Hey! I thought I told you about reading my diary!

Aragorn: I saw you reading mine earlier!

Arwen: We’d better get out of here, Daddy’s about to come to polish his bowling trophies.

Arwen and Aragorn are standing atop of a bridge in the Garden of Twilight. It is raining. Not wanting to get her hair wet, Arwen is holding a large golf umbrella over herself.

Arwen: That do-it-yourself tattoo set you ordered arrived.

Aragon: I know, I tried it out earlier.

He rolls up his faded AC~DC T-shirt sleeve to reveal a rather wobbly tattoo. The writing is backwards, implying that he did it using a mirror.

Arwen: “I LOEV ARWHENA”. How, uh, nice.

Aragon: I was thinking that you could get my face on your leg or something. you, know for when I go away.

Arwen puts on a face smile and changes the subject.

Arwen: Renech i lu i erui govannen? *Do you remember when we first met?*

Aragorn: Not really.

Arwen: (tenderly touches AragornÂ’s cheek) Gwenwin in enninath…U-arnech in naeth i si celich. Renech i beth i pennen? *Long years have passedÂ…You did not have the cares you carry now. Do you remember what I told you?*

Aragorn: I remember your Dad said “What the heck are you doing to my daughter?”

Arwen: And to that he holds. I would rather share one lifetime with you than face all the ages of this world alone.

She gives him the Evenstar. Silver is SO last season anyway.

Arwen: I choose a mortal life.

Aragorn: You cannot give me this! It means I need to scrape together and get you something too now.

Arwen: It is mine to give to whom I will… like my heart.

Aragorn leans toward Arwen to kiss her, but she shoves him away not wanting to get wet. Romantic, huh?

Sorry that this one is a bit short, but I want to get all of the council in the same chapter.
