Post Help with building a sentence...
on: January 26, 2015 04:10
Hi,
I hope it's allowed here..
I've been trying to form the sentence "I will seek him whom my soul loveth" in Quenya
I went over some dictionaries and found nouns I could use but I soon realized the language is WAY too complexed for this method to work..
I would very much appreciate it if someone could help me out and translate it for me.
I hope to get a basic idea of the language's structure and how it differs from English.

Hantanyel órenyallo!

Thank you!

Thank you so much dirk_math!
I think I understand how you inflicted the nouns for fea and melmë, but I don't understand "Suruvan". Is it a future form of a verb?

Yes, sur- is a stem meaning 'seek', -uva- is the future ending, -n is the 1st person singular.
Yassë engë lómë, anarties calali.
