Post Short Translation Request

Wondering if someone can help me translate Fallen Starlight into Sindarin? It is meant to be a female name. I have it in Quenya, and now I need it in Sindarin. Thanks.

Well, starlight is either Gilgalad or Elgalad (the former being a rather famous character...). Fallen = Dannen. They're a tad too long to make a nice looking compound from in my opinion...

Hi, I'm very new.
I was wondering why when going from the singular "Dunadan" to the plural "Dunedain" the "u" does not change to a "y".

Hi,

in one of his essays Tolkien explains that in plurals of compound nouns (such as Dún+adan or roch+ben) the original singular form of the first element was often restored by speakers of Sindarin (WJ:376); so the original plural of Dúnadan indeed would have been #Dynedain, however, this later changed back to Dúnedain.
