Whoa, is that Elrond? Celeborn is really shorter than him! Almost looks funny

Why is it that Celeborn is older and ‘more powerful’ but he looks like Elrond could beat the poo out of him?

If Celeborn’s hair was black and his skin a little darker, I’d say he looks like a wise old Japanese samurai.

no, Galadriel is not Elrond’s daugther but his mother in law. Arwan is Galadriel’s grand-daugther.
Marton who plays Celeborn is 6’3.It stands in onering net.This is just camera angle that does it.

i think this is an extra scene in ttt when elrond goes to lothlorien to aks if he can
send an army to helms deep
Can someone explain why Elrond is in Lorien?? In TTT, Galadriel asks Elrond if the Elves are going to let Men
fight the Orcs alone. No, which is why Haldir the hunk and his company show up at Helm’s Deep. But, Celeborn
and Galadriel are more powerful than Elrond so why are they asking him? And since Galadriel can “talk” to
Elrond telepathically, why would Elrond need to go to Lorien?? Someone give me an answer!!!!
Only answer I can think of is that it’s a cool moment

Maybe Arwen ran away…(there are shots of her in Lothlorien), stopped by Lothlorien on th eway, and then her
dad had to come after her

It looks to me like the colors have been toyed with in this picture. Notice how reddish some of the
background looks. I really *do* think that this is Elrond (I could be wrong, I know), just by the posture and
the outfit (it IS a shade of purple…)
in the TTT extended edition dvd it talks about how they had shot these scenes with elrond going to visit
galadriel and celeborn to talk about sending elves to help fight at helms deep, put the makers thought it
better not to b/c i guess arwen was also to go with and then go and fight at helms deep but they changed that
whole idea and didnt want her to be at helms deep so they didnt need these shots and decided to go with the
idea of elrond and galadriel talking to each other and then having haldir and comp. go to helms deep, so thats
why you dont see this sceen but instead you see the scenes in the movie, they just had a change of plans for
the story.

I think it is Elrond, by the way he stands. He stands similar to that after picking up Arwen’s book in ROTK.
I wish they kept this scene. I would’ve loved to see Elrond and Celeborn go at it.

Re you sure it’s Elrond? maybe it’s Ellada or Elrohir. but you never see Elladan or Elrohir

This was supposed to be in the TTT movie but was cut short, Elrond went to Lothlorien bafor going to Aragon
