wow, now its even more believable that Middle earth was just earth before it took its present form!

Hmm.. I thought Middle-earth was Europe. It doesn’t look like Europe on this map, does it?
If Middle-Earth is in our past when was it? 7,000 or 70,000 years ago? Has there been polor shift since then?

well, the hither lands look something like africa, and you cant even see the other side so you never know what
that could be, and if you ask me, ME is possibly what some people call atlantis and valar would be the bermuda
triangle. then again it might not be….. *is hoping thats true because then there is still a chance elves
exist somewhere on this planet*
I hope it’s true too. But wouldn’t Atlantis be the Island of Numenor? And i believe one of the blue wizards…

…that dragons used to exsist (last one being Smaug) but became extinct when Smaug was killed. I do believe
that middle earth, atleast used to exsist. I also believe that elves do exsist somewhere, maybe hidden like
in a place like Gondolin (men couldn’t go there right?). Btw, sorry for the large ammounts of comments.
Ilove this Map. I have read the Silmarillion and hae always wanted to see a real map of it.
Quite closely resembles the modern world, but in an earlier state. Makes me think this could all be possible.
*sigh* I wish Earth WAS once like this.

I like this map. It looks very believeable.
I believe this is how the earth looked like thousands of years ago, and it have been some sort of disaster….

whats weird about this map is that mordor is not there
you see the white mountains but right where mordor is supposed to be you see water
you do not see the mountains surrounding mordor
I give it a 10 because of the idea of creating it as a globe and not flat like maps. Great idea.
I think mordor isn´t there because it´s not yet built/ created
Wasn’t Arda supposed to be flat in the First Age?
This really gives me an idea of how the world of LOTR might look.
I agree with foshpickle~greenleaf and Eothain. BTW Eothain it was two wizards who went east.
I totally want to make a Middle-earth globe, this is going to help so much!!
