    why, in FotR would she be so practicval to wear pants and a riding skirt but then opt for a dress in RotK?

    maybe she wears more relaxed clothes hear because shes not doing heavy riding, just a gentle elven like strole

    It would still be uncomfortable. Take it from someone who rides horses. A dress is an absolute no no.
