why, in FotR would she be so practicval to wear pants and a riding skirt but then opt for a dress in RotK?
are they trying to make us completely forget the whole ford incident happen? Thats the impression I got
ooh nice cloak i want it… this is the part where she has the vision… i agree, mnu
She really should stop pulling the reins so hard. The poor horse *sniffs*
maybe she wears more relaxed clothes hear because shes not doing heavy riding, just a gentle elven like strole
It would still be uncomfortable. Take it from someone who rides horses. A dress is an absolute no no.
:O Asfaloth is such a pretty boy! *Doesn’t pay any attention anybody else*
*agrees with mnu* Why’d she suddenly turn so… prim and proper? (!)
maybe she’s dressed up for the trip on the ships (maybe a secret boyfriend!-jk)
as opposed to going on an errand that might involve Nazgul(?)
it would be possible to dress nicely for a boat trip and still avoid wearing a dress. I mean really
you shouldn’t even wear baggy pants on a horse.
ppl, especially mnu, don’t blame arwen for wearing a dress while riding, blame PJ, he obviously wanted her in
a dress for this scene. and look at the elves that r walking. sum of them are wearing dresses, and they’re
walking all the way 2 the grey havens. do u know how impractical THAT is? i ride horses 2, i know that dresses
r uncomfortable, but really, it’s not arwen’s fault, blame PJ.
WHo is that elf…..ooh lala
I know it isn’t LIV’S fault, but I’m saying that in the context of the movie (meaning assuming the movie
was actually reality), Arwen chose to wear the dress. Arwen in the films also seems very reluctant to leave
the world of men behind her which came across in her riding outfit as it wasn’t of typical elf design. In this
film we see her take it a step further by actually encouraging Elrond to be proactive in the war, yet she
retreats to more conservative elven trends which takes away from the impact and makes it seem like she does it
purely out of her interest in one man, not all of them.
The angle of this picture makes Asfaloth’s front legs look longer than usual.
I like this pic. I love Liv
I mean no offense at all, but if you guys want to discuss something, please do it in the forums.
awww i love this scene!! and I want Asfaloth!
Asfaloth: Ease up on the reins will you, my mouth is killing me!!!!
