This is the most beautiful, magical and powerful horse ever… I REALLY WANt to ride him!

This is wrong! Gandalf has stirrups! I thougt he had to ride Shadowfax without saddle.
Well, the stirrups are there, but I have yet to see a saddle…hehe

I love Shadowfax….Darkhorse – yes, Gandalf is suposed to ride bareback, but Ian didn’t feel like riding a
galloping horse bareback. Your not supposed to see the stirrups 😉
yeah…they apparently used the stirrups because Ian McKellan didn’t feel comfortable w/o them

I personally like riding bareback better than with a saddle, it just feels more comfortable, like you are one

That’s most definitely the Thoroughbred and not the Andalusian they used to film ShadowFax.

Yes, he’s definately a thoroughbred and not an andalusian. Andalusians have a very different head shape
than Shadowfax
