I think the paintings based on this picture are the best. Especially Nasmith’s.

Actually pretty close to how I pictured it before the movies. I imagined the buildings to be more compact.
thinking there should be more trees and nature to the left, and less white mts.

critize tolkiens drawings too much he invited a whole world hes not picasso also but he tries to explain his
vision on drawings and still they come out ok
