I think Anrion is right, the book say they were in a boat when Deagol found the ring.

Well, I go to alot of LOTr sites looking for pics for some projects I’m doing, and have heard alot about…
LOTR stuff, and that there’s going to be a flashbacks to finding the ring in ROTK and they showed a few pics..
of the flashbacks, this one included, and it was on a whole bunch of different sites, not just one….
I have WAY too much time on my hands.
No, it talks about riverfolk in one of the books, I’m sure of it. I saw this pic before TTT was out…

well, actually, Ringhilwen, Andy Serkis doesn’t act Smeagol out; Smeagol is pretty much animated.
Anyone who has read the book would know that they are Smeagol and Deagol! 🙂

Stoors are distant relatives to Hobbits, on the eastern Misty Mtns. River folks rather than farmers.
