Ingredients

2 cups self rising flour*
4 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 cup milk

*If you don't have any self-rising flour in, you can make your own by combining 2 cups flour with 1/2 teaspoon baking powder and 1/4-1/2 teaspoon salt.

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven for 425 degrees.

2. Combine flour and milk in a large mixing bowl. You may use an electric mixer if you like, but I prefer my hands.

3. Add the mayonnaise and stir well. The consistency of the dough may seem slightly greasy or wet, but never fear! This is normal.

4. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a non-stick or very lightly buttered baking sheet. The biscuits will mainly rise up, but out, but I suggest putting them at least an inch apart from each other.

5. Bake for 10-20 minutes, or until just barely golden brown.

6. Serve with butter or jam and enjoy!
