From Chud.com: Lord of the Rings producer and WETA director Richard Taylor answer questions about special effects, Helm’s Deep, and how the tone will change in The Return of the King.

The official site has updated again, this time featuring part one of a two part interview with director Peter Jackson.

Wondering about some of the changes occurring in The Two Towers? Co-writer of the Lord of the Rings film Philippa Boyens reveals the reasoning behind some of the major character changes in an interview with Coming Soon.

“I see myself as the guardian of this character,” says Serkis. “I think of Gollum as a Ring junkie. He’s suffering withdrawal because the Ring is not his anymore. He’s a paranoid schizo, a compulsive liar and completely screwed up. What actor wouldn’t want to play this part?”
