I actually didnt mind the multiple endings. It added more meaning to the end. But as long as I got to stay and see more of it… I was happy!
I’m very sad! Now i don’t have anything to fantasize about!
I have no clue what everyone’s talking about. The only false ending I saw was the black out when Sam and Frodo are on Mount Doom. But I knew to stay in my seat not only because I had been told there was a false ending, but because the credits didn’t roll and the music kept going. I think the rest of it flowed smoothly.
There were many stories inside the story, if you see what I mean. So Jackson had to wrap all those up to. Otherwise, people would be even MORE upset asking themselves “What happened to the hobbits when they got back to the Shire? What happened to Aragorn and becoming the King? What about Arwen and her child she saw? What about the Elves and Gandalf and the Fellowship?”
I think Jackson did an excellent job. I even cried many times during the movie, which is a big thing for me.
I say this: Peter Jackson….You are a genius. 🙂
Well, that’s just my opinion though. Those who haven’t read the books seem to think it was horrible, like my brother. So I guess you just have to be a fan of the books to be a fan of the endings.
Much love! ,
