Tolkien scholar to discuss movie adaptations
Dr. T. A. Shippey, a leading expert on Tolkien, will be presenting, “From Page to Screen: Problems Tolkien Set for Jackson” at Hope College in Holland, MI on Thursday, April 1, at 4 p.m. The public is welcome to attend and you can read more about the presentation at hope.edu.

Okay so I’m posting on my own news entry….but I just think it is soo awesome that a Tolkien expert of this caliber is coming to Hope! I can’t wait to hear what he says.

Oh my gosh, I wish I could be there! Will it be videotaped? It would be great if they videotape the presentation and show it in various media outlets.
