Lord of the Rings slips down the charts
The poll results at CBBC show that LotR is slipping down their charts. According to the site, “Just a few months ago it used to dominate almost half the chart, but now it’s struggling to keep up with Potter mania.”

Wait 25 years. Harry Potter is a good book; in a while it might be read by lots of kids, but not remembered as a great classic, while Lord of the Rings won’t fade, though the surge of fans of the movies may dwindle.
Don’t confuse the movie with the books, please. Fame is so fickle, especially in the movie business. In the years to come, LotR will still be one of the most loved books of all time. That’s the main point…BOOK…not movie. IMHO though, the movies will be my all-time favorites because the book is my all-time favorite. Has been for years and years and years.
I hate Harry Potter.
