LotR symphony in Philadelphia – 13th July
Due to a scheduling conflict, Howard Shore is no longer available to conduct the Philadelphia performance of the LotR symphony on 13th July. His place will be taken by John Mauceri, principal conductor of the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra. There are further details here.

Omg omg OMG!!! I live about 2 hours from Philly! 😀 Awww, but I probably won’t be able to go. They don’t show orchestras on T.V do they? *shrugs* Oh well, I got the soundtrack.
aww. that’s a pity not havin howard shore there in person. and i bet that the number of fans in that audience would fall, even a little.
