The Lord of the Rings symphony in Des Moines
On 14th and 15th May the Des Moines Symphony Orchestra will be performing the Lord of the Rings symphony by Howard Shore.
The performances will be conducted by Howard Shore and will feature the Iowa Youth Chorus, Westminster Presbyterian Church Choir and the Des Moines Gay Men’s Chorus. There are further details here.

I think this is great. I live by Des Moines and I hope to get tickets. I am glad that it is so closr to where I live, instead of New York or London or some place like that. I just hope I can get tickets soon so that they don’t sell out befor I can get them.
I am so excited for this and I am soooo glad I live near Des Moines!! I know I can’t go on the 14th because it’s my parents’s anniversary, but I can sure go on Saturday! I wanted to take my friend with me, but she thinks she’ll have softball, so she’ll probably pick softball over LotR because she is a loser and can’t miss a single practice, so I guess I’m going to ask another friend. I just hope, like Lady_Arwen17, that there will be tickets left. I’m not going to miss this for anything!
