The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar
The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar is due to launch in 2006. IGN has a report of a demo of the initial game experiences which include rescuing an imprisoned hobbit named Celadine Brandybuck and a trip to the Mad Badger Tavern.

Oh dear… I can see where I’m going to be spending time and money on this. I am such a sucker for PC games and if it’s not horridly expensive, to be able to play in this sandbox will have me going for some significant period of time. 😀
