Billy sings The Rings
The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra will perform Howard Shore’s Lord of Rings Symphony on 22nd and 23rd July at Heinz Hall. The performances will feature a world premiere live vocal performance by Billy Boyd. There is further information about this event at the orchestra’s website here.

Wish I could see this. Billy Boyd`s song is so haunting and he has such a lovely voice. Come on Billy, sing it at home here in Scotland. Please will somebody put on something like this in Scotland.
Wish they would put on something like this in Scotland. Would love to see this, especially with Billy singing, his song is so haunting and he sings it beautifully.

When I went to see the symphony they didn’t even PLAY ‘Edge of Night”. No fair!!
But I am happy for all those going to the Pittshburgh symphony 🙂

At least I’ve HEARD him sing before, in ROTK. *cheers* He has a wonderful voice. 😉
By simply looking at him during the movie, you can tell that he’s really singing, not lip syncing. And what a wonderful voice the young man has! *swoons* It would be wonderful to see him sing live.
Why do they never do these things in England where I can go to them?!?!
