Lord of the Rings Symphony – August
Whilst the majority of performances of Howard Shore’s Lord of the Rings Symphony are in the US, in August there are 3 European performances in Greece, Germany and Norway.
9th August – State Symphony of Athens conducted by Markus Huber at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, Athens.
13th August at the Schleswig-Holstein Festival, Neumünster, Germany.
27th August – Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra at Frogner Park, Oslo.

I went to the performance in Toronto, Canada, and I HIGHLY recommend going to see (and hear :)) this symphony especially if you love the music from the films. Wow, that was one long run-on sentence.
