Wow. That was kinda wierd in a creepy sense. I’m definately one who would do a live role-play if I could, but I don’t think I would ever use a real sword in it. All my swords if I had one would be hanging on my wall. I’d probobly have a plastic cheepo one. But wow, that was kinda creepy, I think.

Jeez Looez! It doesn’t say that it was a real sword though. The poor guy. What was he hitting him for? If he wasn’t ready and didn’t have a protective helmet? People like that should be sentenced for a long while in prison. But thats just my opinion.

Some people just don’t have a brain! That man deserves to spent some time thinking about what he did. That is pathetic that he would do that when obviously the boy had no helmet on!

The HEAD of the club should know better than to battle some little more than half his age without protective gear, especially head gear.
It’ll be interesting to see how this all plays out and how it’ll affect live role-playing (and fantasy in general) in the future.

Hey, I for one don’t think he should spend too long in prison. It was an accident, after all. If he had deliberately smashed the kids head, then I would be all for a harsh sentance. But I’ve done these role-play fights with my friends, and it is really hard to know where the sword is going. If you’re defending, unless you’ve taken classes, you rarely ever parry the attacks. If you’re attacking, again, unless you’ve taken classes, you probably won’t have that much control over the sword. Plus, with it being a longer sword, you can take a swipe at someone’s stomach and accidentally hit their head.
Okay. I’m done with the essay now. You may now argue with me (as I figure you will…)
