As part of their 10th anniversary celebrations Amazon.com has compiled a list of their top 25 best-selling authors and JRR Tolkien makes the list at number 8. You can view the full list here.

Number 8?! Well that’s just unacceptable. I suggest that every person on this site, member and visitor, go and buy all new copies of all of his books, every single one, so that we all have a nice and pretty copy on display. And buy different editions of the books too. They have different covers on them.
I mean who does that JKR person thinks she is? An owner of a castle? HA We will conquer! Ok everybody, on the count of 3. One . . . . . Two . . . . . Three!
I dont know about a lot of those authors, but Tolkien should’ve definitely beat out Miss Harry Potter and Mr. Da Vinci Code. I’ll take LotR over that dribble any day.
What?! Only on the 8th place?! That’s really unacceptable, Tolkien should be the first. His works are the complete second world. He couldn’t be beat just by Rowling and Brown and some, I don’t know.
Well anyway, I am sure he’ll have a place and I’m really happy that even though he’s now in heaven, he can still hook other people to read his books.
Rowling and Tolkien should be on the first place together!:D

Oh my goodness JKR was #1 !!!!!!! guys, we have to go buy more books HP is evil!!! Dr.Suess was the only one who deserved tobe in that spot!
