First there were online LOTR courses for colleges, and now there is a free course at Suite University: this course will help you gain a better understanding of the movies, where to find Middle-earth in the real world, and more!

Ah, if only all university courses were free. Heck, I’ll even take having all courses being lotr-related *starts grumbling about lack of LotR-ism at her university*.
I am doing this course and so far I really like it. I don’t agree with the teacher on everything but she really knows her Tolkien. Thanks COE for telling me about the course.

why would there be a course on lotr? it sounds kinda pointless if you ask me…
