Oh it was soo amazing! The Imax was fully booked, not a single seat was empty in the theatre! I was sitting right in the middle, got the best view! The screen was HUGE! It is the largest screen in UK, but because the movies were in widescreen format they didnt take up the entire screen size.
The whole atmosphere was so brilliant though, people walking around wearing LOTR jumpers and T shirts. I was hoping they’d do some kind of quiz in one of the intervals. If they did i’d have definately won! The Lord of the Lord of the Rings Quiz! Hehe. There were 2 intervals between the 3 movies where people could buy food and have free tea and coffee. I tell you something though, if you didnt come out of the cinema fast enough and come into the food/drink area quickly you’d have to wait a long time. That really was One Que to Rule them all! Hehe!
Anyway the feeling was so nice, to be surrounded by all mutual tolkien fans, and at the end the applause was electrifying! A wonderful experience and one i hope i can have again!
