Tolkien Estate’s claim for damages
A Los Angeles judge has ruled that the Tolkien Estate may seek compensatory damages against New Line Cinema.

My opinion, New Line Cinema needs honor ALL the contracts and commitments they made with the Tolkien Estate and the cast and crew that brought Tolkiens writings to life. Good thing P.J. is working with someone else to bring The Hobbit to life. New Line Cinema would probably get overly greedy on that project as well.
New Line Cinema: How dare you be so dishonest and disrespectful to the creater of Middle-Earth and the people who dwell there!! Further more you are utterly disgraceful, greedy profit-mongers with no respect for not honoring the contracts you signed with the cast and crew, who spent so much time, effort, AND dedication to bring Tolkiens great work to life for all the world to experience.
Didn’t anyone ever tell you? A CONTRACT IS A PROMISE ON PAPER, AND PROMISES ARE MADE TO BE HONORED!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To Peter Jackson: You did a wonderful job, it just sucks that New Line Cinema is doing this to you and everyone else involved, especially the Tolkien Estate.
New Line needs to start owing up to everyone. This is not helping their credibility.
