Aragorn may not be appearing in ‘The Hobbit’
Though Viggo Mortensen has hinted his ‘The Lord of the Rings’ character, Aragorn, will not be included in ‘The Hobbit’ storyline, he claims the warrior character could be seen in ‘The Hobbit 2’. You can read the rest of the story here.

The article quotes Viggo saying that only if there is a bridge movie the character may appear. There won’t be a bridge movie so there won’t be Aragorn in either both parts of ‘The Hobbit’, I guess.
though the events of The Hobbit take place in The Third Age, Aragorn’s birth year is 2931 and ten years later in 2941 that is when the events of The Hobbit take place so if in Part II of The Hobbit if they wanted to show the first meeting of Aragorn and Arwen they could do that but only if Viggo and Liv can commit to appear or if Liv commits to reprise her role and if they can find an actor to play a younger Aragorn.
That’s too bad. I was hoping that they could have Bilbo meeting up with a very young Aragorn when they first get to Rivendell. He would be only a boy, but he would be there, since they stay with Elrond. Viggo might not be in the Hobbit films, but I was hoping Aragorn would still be.
