Martin Freeman has said that he is feeling daunted but excited at the prospect of moving from his home to New Zealand to play Biblo in the forthcoming movies of The Hobbit.

The Hobbiton set has been built and is waiting for the hobbits to arrive. It’s not certain when filming will actually begin (due to the delays due to Peter Jackson’s recent surgery) but the set will be closed from 14th February to 20th March.

Peter Jackson has been discharged from Wellington Hospital. He has returned home to continue his recovery. Any delays to filming are expected to be minimal.

Peter Jackson is in a stable condition in the intensive care unit of Wellington Hospital following surgery for a perforated ulcer. He is expected to make a full recovery but will need to stay in hospital for several days.
