Ingredients
12 oz tricolor pasta shapes1 large onion
1 can tomatoes
1 can baked beans
3 slices bacon, chopped
1 tablespoon oregano
Pinch sugar
Olive oil
Grated cheddar cheese to taste
Instructions
In a small saucepan, fry the onion in olive oil until soft. Add tomatoes, oregano and sugar. Simmer for 15 minutes.Meanwhile, boil a large pan of water, add pasta and simmer until slightly al dente.
Put baked beans and chopped bacon into a large, oven-proof dish. Drain pasta and pour on top of beans and bacon. Pour the tomato and onion sauce over the pasta. Mix together thoroughly. Grate cheddar cheese liberally over top.
Pop in the oven at 200c (400º F) for approximately 30 minutes or until the cheese begins to brown.

Recipe was very good. My whole household loved it. It actually makes a vary large portion. Though it might be enhanced by adding one more can of tomatoes and another can of beans to counteract the large amount of pasta.
This was delicious! I added some leftover red kidney beans too which was very nice.
