no its smith of wooton major- one of Tolkiens charactes from another book
Looks like St. Joseph the Worker… =)
I would’ve guessed Aule
naaah… Aulë would be depicted riding a horse… and he’s ugly (I’m sure he is, he has to be) (Aulë that is)
he is riding a horse. look at the bottom of the pic. 🙂
why would Aule be on a horse??? that’s Orome you’re thinking of.
Oh
Orome the one on the horse! I’m with you K
Looks like peter jackson kind of! But its a pretty picture!
If you look VERY(and I mean carefully) you can see the star on his forehead, so I’m w/ k, it is the
smith, but look VERY!!! carefully
I see the star!! and I agree with k too.
Definately the smith- i can see the star( it took me ages to see it though)
i like the birds.
Ah! I see the star now. I most definately agree with k.
LOL well it was Garland that called the picture “Smith of wooton major”… i agree with the artist 😉
awesome, the only garland picture i like
He doesn’t look like an elf, does he?
‘Tis a
I love the especially love the border and the background on the left. Just kinda strikes me as very artistic.
Very nice work
I would of thought it was Labadol, the carpenter Turin befrieds in Nan-hin-hurin
reminds me of somebody from minas tirith, i dont know why 🙂
To me he looks too soft and calm to be Fëanor…
I see it now, it’s rather small and just slightly lighter in color than his skin. Also there’s a star in the
lower center of the border, the small village in the background, and I believe there was something with the
birds. Is that him on the horse though? Was that part of the book? There are things in the border, too.Lovely.
