Elves of the Great March who never reached Aman. This term was first used in the Later Quenta Silmarillion to replace Ekkeli, and was later on replaced by Ćmanyar.
It is worth noting that in the second version of the Later Quenta, Tolkien wrote this term on the margin of the typescript, possibly as if he were considering a return to it.
