Brodda was an Easterling that lived in Hithlum. He took Aerin as his wife after the Nirnaeth Arnoediad. Aerin was kin to Húrin.

When Túrin was looking for his mother, Morwen, he sought out Aerin to gain any information she might have. Túrin walked up to Brodda, sword in hand, and asked him where his mother had gone. Aerin, nearby, told him that Morwen had to gone to Doriath to look for Túrin, and suddenly Túrin fell into a rage and slew Brodda right there at the table, and also many other Easterlings that were there.
