Dorlas was a man who lived in Brethil of the People of Haleth.

While leading a company of men to save the captives of an Orc-host, they were surrounded by the orcs, and saved by Túrin Turambar.

Later, Dorlas volunteered to go with Túrin to kill Glaurung the Dragon. However, he withdrew in fear when the time came, and was then slain by Brandir the Lame.
